Have A “Miller Light”
Resting on the bottom at about 160 feet of depth, perfectly upright the freighter makes for a great artificial reef home to loads of wildlife. Much encrustations and growth are abundant on the wreck and as can be seen from the video, the variety of fish is great. Of course the lionfish is also represented there in great numbers as well. Tagged At the dive site man-made blocks had been scattered on the ocean floor and now posed shelters for ocean fauna of many sorts, including not least a beautiful good sized moray eel. We had pretty good visibility and had a lot of fun filming, scootering and even did a little bit of clean up of the ocean floor where we found the typical emptied beer cans. We also found golf balls and suspect that someone must have had some fun driving these, we may add.

5.1 Miles – another record for the VS
During the past summer a test dive was made on one of the models we have and the numbers from the dive were super impressive. In fact a distance of 5.1 miles was covered by a diver using two Halcyon underwater propulsion vehicles. The diver entered the waters ½ mile off of Bahia Mar and exited 2 hours and 15-minutes later just off of Commercial Boulevard. That’s just about 5.1 miles in distance measured by GPS device. Glimpse Of A Dive
The dive spot we found on the last trip to the Bimini waters was really beautiful, with coral growth and beautiful fish of all kinds. It was also a great spot to play with the Brownie’s Third Lung and the Halcyon scooters. This video shows a glimpse of one of those dives. Continue reading

Hookah Diving At Dania Beach, Florida
