BROWNIE’S MARINE GROUP TO PRESENT AT BOTH UNITED STATES SAILBOAT AND POWERBOAT SHOWS
Brownie’s Marine Group will exhibit at the Annapolis, Maryland based “United States Sail and Powerboat shows”. Now in its 42nd year, the United States Sailboat Show, October 6 – 10, 2011, attracts more than 50,000 boating enthusiasts from around the world to the waterfront of historic Annapolis, Maryland. The Chesapeake Bay town is also home of the U.S. Naval Academy and recognized worldwide as the premier sailing showcase to buy or sell products. The Sailboat Show is followed by the United States Powerboat Show, October 13-16, 2011. Both shows are the oldest and largest, new in-water boat shows in the world. Continue reading

Brownie’s Marine Group Announces Appointment of William Mee as Chief Technical Officer
William (Bill) Mee has been appointed its Chief Technical Officer at Brownie’s Marine Group.Mr. Mee brings over 27 years of experience in computer hardware, software technology, and instrument design. He holds numerous patents and has designed many complex instrument systems involving embedded processor control and analog sensing systems. Mr. Mee’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Brown University and a Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami. He has served as Vice President of Engineering and Development at Verimed, Inc. (medical electronics) and, most recently for the past decade as an independent engineering and software consultant.
